i don't understand the excitement for "fifty shades of grey"
going into the book, i expected there to be sex on page two. but no. i had to read 100 pages of horrible writing before i even got to one little sex scene. i thought the whole reason every female in existence read this series was because it was all sex.
my next concern about this series is the main character, christian grey. isn’t the main male character supposed to be this super sexy, desirable character that everyone wishes was real? beacause i sure as hell do NOT wish he was real, let alone my boyfriend. in the simplest of terms, he’s an asshole. he gets turned on by telling women what to do, how to dress and INSISTS they be willing to do any sexual act he wants, at any time? doesn’t seem like the kind of guy i would want to be involved with.
oh, and does the author not know how to spell vagina or something? or any other slang word for a woman’s lady parts other than writting “there” in italics.
"he’s going to kiss me there”
"he’s going to touch me there”
i’m pretty sure i would be just that much more turned on it if went more like
"he’s going to touch my dripping pussy"
but idk. maybe it’s just me.
all in all, the writing of the book is horrible. the story is not that great. the main male character is the biggest asshole in the world. so the sex scenes better make up for it.
because if i’m not fucking my boyfriend at least once a day, i’ll have wasted my time.
(p.s. thats the only thing i agreed with in the book. i prefer to call it “fucking” than making love. because i prefer it fast and hard. not long and sensual. most of the time)
